Aren't they pretty much going to be all the same? They hold charcoal and have a grill? What is a 25 quid number going to do differently to your meat to a 100 quid one? Surely it's only quality of build, which you can see for yourself if you go and have a look?

All about the quality of charcoal and nothing to do with the actual BBQ.
My old man buys huge bags of the stuff near Stoke Ferry in Norfolk when he visits my sister.

Lotus grill is charcoal but uses air to regulate. Easy to clean and use . its amazing for steaks. Gas BBQ don't make me laugh I'm the urban bear grills.

Buzzy... you are my type of man....
ANYONE that uses GAS for a BBQ is a fraud.... they probably have artificial grass in their back garden, a French Bulldog as their dog of choice and a pair of whitened teeth...

Wouldn't that look odd, a pair of whitened teeth? Like the front two at the top, and the rest a nasty yellow colour???

Can't go wrong with a Weber, great for grilling or smoking, I get a 12 hour smoke on mine if you stack the charcoal right..

Like r style mum... I got a brick built... and it's getting harder and harder to find grills to fit them... managed to order a beaut last year with a little drop down oven underneath... meant to be able to cook stuff in there but I'm not so sure about that... BUT... it's a great place to keep stuff warm while you are cooking... fuel... always a mixture.... briqs heated in the chimney starter... then light the charcoal... when the briqs are glowing chuck them on top... bit of damp wood chip ... and Roberts yer Father's Brother.... the god damn best chicken wings this side of Rochford

Get yourself a smoker.
Either a Weber Smokey Mountain a ProQ Frontier Elite.
These are the future.
